Career Fair Checklist
Everything worth doing before you walk in, in the order it makes sense to do it.
Bring a one-page resume as a PDF, a QR code for it saved on your phone, about ten printed copies, a short introduction you've said out loud, and a list of the tables you care about.
A week before
- Update your resume and cut it to one page.
- Look up which employers are attending and pick your top ten.
- Write two sentences about yourself and say them out loud until they sound normal.
The night before
- Save your resume as a PDF named after you.
- Upload it and save your QR code to your photos.
- Print about ten copies and keep them flat.
- Charge your phone and pack a small battery pack.
- Pick your outfit so the morning is boring.

The morning of

After
- Write down who you talked to while you still remember.
- Follow up within two days with your resume link.
