Before the career fair

  • Upload your resume and save the QR image to your photos.
  • Add the photo to Favorites, or set it as your lock screen for the day.
  • Name your PDF after yourself, like Jane-Doe-Resume.pdf.
  • Scan your own code with a friend's phone to be sure it works.
  • Print a few paper copies as a backup.

At the career fair

  • When a recruiter asks for your resume, open the QR photo and hold up your phone.
  • Let them scan it with their camera, then keep talking. It takes a second.
  • If they'd rather have a link, offer to text it instead.
  • If they'd rather have paper, hand them one of your backups.
